Movie: "Love and Monsters"

I had no idea what this movie was about, who was in it, or even what to expect going into this one...and maybe that is why I found it AMAZING!!!

This was a fun, post apocalyptic movie taking place at some point in the future after the planet was saved from certain death from an astroid by blowing it up, which led to the death of 95% of the human population because of the fallout turning bugs into monsters.

Seven years have passed and Joel has lost his family, his friends, the girl he fell in love with right before the end of life as he knew it. Joel is afraid...of everything! His small colony of survivors has been getting by, living underground to survive the world ruled by monsters.

Joel sets out on an adventure, above ground, to seek out someone that he thought he had lost forever. Joel heads out despite his colonies recommendations for the one thing stronger than his fear of the monsters....love!

Monster pool frogs, massive slugs, sand gobblers and more stand between Joel and the love of his life...that and Joel's petrifying fear of everything out in the wilds!

This was a super fun film with some intense scenes, monster chases, witty humor and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys cheesy monster movies!
