Book Review: "The Earth Epsilon Wars Book 1" by Terrance Mulloy

Did you LOVE Startship Troopers? Do you really enjoy stories like Aliens, Predator, 12 Monkeys, or The Time Machine? If so...you will want to check out this book!

I listened to the Audiobook as read by Bronson Pinchot...his reading style took a little bit for me to get used to, but now...I not only loved the story, but loved the way that it was performed...as it is a little more than a reading... definitely entertaining!

The story itself though takes place in the not too distant future and Earth has been attacked by an alien species referred to as Wraiths. They have humanity pushed to the edge and things are looking grim when they suddenly leave. The USC (worldwide united military force) follows the Wraiths back to their home planet, Epsilon, to finish the war.

We are introduced to a squad of special forces personal led by the main character, Matt. Matt is a very likeable and relatable character who experienced a very personal affect of the Wraith invasion and is now fighting for the survival of the human race.

The story begins to ramp up after the USC receives some intelligence that leads the team into a firefight situation and Matt finds himself separated from his squad. He stumbles into a location and discovers a secret that the Wraiths have kept under wraps that has far reaching implications throughout the story later down the road.

Matt and his squad are finally reunited after some intense happenings and then things go a bit sideways once they are sent on a mission into the heart of Wraith territory.

You would think that the story could not get more wild...but you would be wrong! Another, high risk situation is not too far in the near future...or distant past...

By the end of the first book, I was at the edge of my seat and could not wait to get started on Book 2!

It would suffice to say, I highly recommend this book/series for any science fiction lover! The story is fast paced, exciting and will have you discover yourself in a world where the future of the human race is at stake on this wild ride!
